Our First CTK Durango Wedding

Ruthie and Jason were married this past weekend. Chip and Steve officiated together. It was such a great time - a real milestone in the life of our church. Ruthie looked beautiful.  Ruth, Jason, Annie, Jackson and Eddie make such a precious family.

Small Sided 6 and Under Boys 3v3

Soccer has begun. We had tons of fun at the field today. Oscar's first game...

Doesn't Chip look like super coach!

My son laughs and giggles while running behind the pack. I love that he loves it.

Team meeting of the Gut-Heads. At the first practice, three boys volunteered team names. The choices were:

1. Howler Monkeys (I have no idea how to spell that)
2. Bloody Eyeballs
3. Gut-Heads

When Chip suggested that we choose a less graphic option for number two, Oscar suggested Blue Balls. Awesome. Chip let the boys vote, praying to God they wouldn't choose Blue Balls. Thankfully, it was a unanimous vote for Gut-Heads.

Go Gut-Heads Go!!!

MLS Season Begins!

Steve's super boring Fantasy Baseball blog has inspired me!

The Colorado Rapids opened their season with a 4-0 trouncing of the L.A. Galaxy. David Beckham was no match for our own Englishman, Terry Cooke. Seriously, in soccer 4-0 is a humiliating defeat! We first scored in the 10th minute. I SOOO wish I could have been at that game!!! Dude. Chip and I will travel to Denver to see a game, but not until August. Until then, I will have to enjoy the very non-competitve experience of my son's 6 and under team.

Here are the highlights from the first week! GOOOAAAAAAAL!

Famous "Friends"

Okay, so in high school Will Forte wasn't a friend of mine, but he did graduate from Acalanes High the class ahead of me. It's fun to say I went to school with an SNL cast member - even if he's not that funny.

Forgive me Will.

This may be his best work...at least it parodies one of my favorite high school era shows!

Thanks for keeping it alive man!  Love the diaper.
